The Ubiquiti UniFi Long-Range Ethernet Repeater (Model: UACC-LRE) is a robust gigabit-rate adapter designed to extend your Ethernet network and Power over Ethernet (PoE) coverage up to 1 kilometer. Equipped with two Gigabit RJ45 ports, it can receive PoE/PoE+ input and offers passthrough PoE output, enabling daisy-chaining multiple units to connect distant devices such as access points and cameras.
Key Features:
- Supports long-range PoE connections up to 1 km when deployed in 100 m increments
- Two GbE RJ45 ports: one for PoE/PoE+ input and one passthrough output port to power downstream devices
- Provides 10kA+ surge protection with high sparkover and impulse voltages to safeguard connected equipment
- Designed for harsh environments, operating reliably between -40ยฐ to 80ยฐ Celsius
- Features a UV-stabilized polycarbonate enclosure with IPX5 weather resistance and stainless steel mounting hardware for indoor/outdoor installation
- Consumes minimal power (max 1.5 W excluding PoE passthrough) while delivering total available PoE power up to 22.5 W downstream
- Total non-blocking line rate of 2 Gbps with a switching capacity of 4 Gbps and forwarding rate of 1.488 Mpps
- LEDs indicate power status, Ethernet link speeds, and PoE output activity for simple monitoring
Deployment Notes:
- Multiple units can be chained together to serve low-power endpoints over extended distances.
- Repeaters must be placed in 100 m increments.
- Powered with pins 1, 2+; 3, 6-; recommended to use UniFi PoE switches to ensure compatibility.
This Ethernet repeater is ideal for expanding your PoE network reach in large-scale surveillance or wireless deployments where long cabling runs are required without complex infrastructure upgrades.
