The Sophos AP6 420E is a high-performance, cloud-managed indoor access point designed to deliver cutting-edge Wi-Fi 6E capabilities. Featuring a tri-radio 2x2x2 design, it supports simultaneous operation across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz bands, achieving a combined theoretical throughput of up to 5375 Mbps (575 + 2400 + 2400 Mbps respectively).

This model includes a 2.5 Gbps Multigig Ethernet port with 802.3at PoE+ support for streamlined power and data over a single cable, and is plenum-rated (UL2043) to meet stringent fire safety requirements for installation in airflow spaces such as ceilings and walls. Six internal omnidirectional antennas (two per band) ensure robust wireless coverage and performance.

Managed via the Sophos Central cloud platform, the AP6 420E centralizes network configuration, firmware updates, and security, integrating seamlessly with other Sophos products for enhanced threat detection and response capabilities. A local user interface is also available for standalone use.
