The Snom M58 is a versatile DECT desk phone handset designed for wireless office environments without Ethernet cabling. Featuring a large 5.0" TFT color display (480 × 272 resolution) and an antibacterial housing, it delivers a robust desk phone experience with complete wireless convenience when paired with Snom base stations such as the M500.

This handset supports Shared Call Emulation (SCE) enabling up to 16 simultaneous calls within the DECT system to be monitored, held, answered, or transferred effortlessly without needing programming.

Equipped with 8 dual-color programmable SmartLabel keys, users can assign up to 24 functions over multiple pages for enhanced control. A backlit keypad enables use in low-light conditions. The integrated audio includes wideband/HD sound quality, hearing-aid compatibility (HAC), and supports both wired headsets via RJ9 and Bluetooth headset connectivity (HSP profile) with approximately 10 meters wireless range.

Additional features include local phonebook storage (up to 200 entries), LDAP and XML phonebook support, and central shared directories on the base station with up to 500 entries. Calls are managed with functionalities such as speed dial, redial, call waiting, transfer, hold, call park, conferencing, and more.

The handset supports secure DECT authentication and encryption, with typical ranges up to 50 meters indoors and 300 meters outdoors (regional limits apply). Software updates happen wirelessly via the base station (SUOTA) and provisioning is zero-touch for simplified deployment.

Compact and ergonomic, the EU variant measures approximately 175 × 240 × 210 mm (with footstand) and weighs about 1.051 kg. It comes with a dedicated power adapter and all necessary accessories for immediate use.
