The Simplecom SD336 is a versatile single-bay SATA docking station that supports both 2.5" and 3.5" SATA HDDs and SSDs, providing an easy, fast way to access and transfer data from your desktop or laptop drives. Featuring a USB 3.2 Gen 1 (formerly USB 3.0) Type-B interface, it delivers transfer speeds up to 5 Gbps, and remains backward compatible with USB 2.0 at 480 Mbps.

This dock supports UASP (USB Attached SCSI Protocol) which enhances transfer performance for compatible systems and drives. It is hot-swappable and plug-and-play, requiring no drivers for standard disk access. For added convenience, the front one-touch backup (OTB) button allows quick backups on Windows systems after installing the free SD336 OTB software from Simplecom's website.

A standout feature is its stunning RGB LED lighting base with multi-colored breathing effects, designed to complement modern PC aesthetics and RGB setups. The device automatically enters a low power sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity to conserve energy.

Constructed from durable ABS plastic, the SD336 measures compactly at 160 x 84 x 65 mm and requires a 12V 2A power supply. Compatible with Windows XP and later (32/64 bit) as well as Mac OS 10.4 and above, it comes complete with a USB 3.0 cable, power adapter, and user manual.
