The LENOVO ThinkSystem RAID 930-8i is a high-performance low-profile PCIe 3.0 x8 RAID adapter designed specifically for Lenovo ThinkSystem servers, supporting up to 8 internal SAS/SATA drives with 12 Gbps throughput. Featuring 2 GB of flash-backed cache, this adapter enhances data protection and improves throughput by safeguarding cached data against power loss.

Built on the Broadcom MegaRAID 9460 family, it supports a comprehensive range of RAID levels including 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60, and JBOD configurations. The controller is compatible with both SAS and SATA drives but does not support mixing SAS with SATA or HDDs with SSDs within the same RAID array. It also supports multiple drive speeds (12 Gbps and 6 Gbps).

Designed for enterprise-grade reliability, availability, and serviceability (RAS), the adapter supports advanced management and configuration utilities such as Lenovo XClarity Provisioning Manager, StorCLI command-line interface, LSI Storage Authority GUI, and UEFI management interfaces.
